How long does a typical tub-to-shower conversion take?

Most conversions take 5–8 days depending on scope. Our Essential package completes in 5–7 days. Signature and Masterpiece projects with premium tile or custom glass may take 8–12 days. We provide a detailed timeline before starting.

Do you handle the waterproofing?

Absolutely. We use Schluter KERDI waterproofing systems on every project — no exceptions. It’s the industry gold standard for tile showers, and it’s included in every package.

What is included in your pricing?

Our packages cover tile, fixtures, waterproofing, demolition, haul-away, and final cleanup. Glass doors and enclosures are always priced separately as add-ons so you choose exactly what fits your space and budget. The price you see is the price you pay — no hidden fees, no surprise change orders.

Can I supply my own tile or fixtures?

Yes. We offer a labor-only option where you supply approved materials from our allowed materials list. This ensures compatibility with our waterproofing system and warranty coverage.

What is the difference between frameless and semi-frameless glass?

Frameless glass uses thicker panels (3/8" to 1/2") with minimal hardware for a modern, open look. Semi-frameless uses a frame on the top and sides but no frame on the door itself — a great balance of style and value.

Do you serve areas outside Raleigh?

We serve the entire Raleigh-Durham Triangle including Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Durham, Chapel Hill, and surrounding communities within 50 miles of ZIP code 27610.

How does payment work?

We use a milestone-based payment structure: 40% deposit upon acceptance, 30% at tile completion, and 30% at final walkthrough. No payment is collected before work begins on each milestone.

Do you offer curbless or ADA-compliant showers?

Yes. Curbless showers are available as an add-on to any package. We install proper slope engineering and linear drains for barrier-free entry. Popular for aging-in-place and modern design.

What happens if there is damage behind the walls?

If we discover rot, mold, or structural issues during demolition, we stop and document everything with photos. You receive a written change order with exact pricing before any additional work proceeds.

Do you pull permits?

We handle all required permits per Wake County and local municipality codes. Permit requirements vary by scope — most standard conversions within the existing footprint do not require structural permits.

What is your warranty?

We provide a 2-year workmanship warranty covering tile, grout, waterproofing installation, and glass. Fixture and material warranties are passed through from manufacturers (typically 5–10 years).
